Enquiring Minds No.5
Once again it's time for my regular feature, Enquiring Minds, a series which celebrates the wonderful workings of my children's minds. You can find all my 'Enquiring Minds' posts here.
We were away on a short break last week and we were travelling for many hours so the questions centred around cars and things we saw on our journey...
- Which car was made first, Mercedes or Mitsubishi?
- What does UKIP mean?
- Are old cars more expensive than newer cars?
- What is a smuggler?
- What is semi-skimmed milk?
- What is a psychopath?
- Why are green grapes called white grapes?
Question 1 was raised because as we were travelling N noticed that the logo for Mercedes and Mitsubishi were quite similar. I have to admit that I had never noticed this before - isn't it great how children can spot things like that. She basically wanted to know which came first so she could call the other manufacturer a copycat!
Have your children asked any intriguing questions this week? I'd love to hear about them.
