iPhone Photo Filters

I've always been interested in photography and enjoy taking photos using removable filters to get different effects. On our recent holiday, while the children were playing in the sand on the beach, I began to investigate the built-in filters on my iPhone and was actually quite pleased with the results.

This was the original photo I took of Paignton pier...

This is the same photo but with the Mono filter...

The Tonal filter...

The Noir filter...

The Fade filter...

The Transfer filter...

And finally the Instant filter...

My favourite filter from this bunch is Noir as it gives the photo an eerie, still feeling but I also like the Transfer filter because I think it makes the photo look old fashioned.

I just love how a simple change of filter can create a whole new atmosphere in exactly the same photo!

Which filter is your favourite?

  2. Nice visual effects. Do you have some guides about it ? It's interesting to find a good step by step guides for complete newcomers. I have this software https://macphun.com/intensify for editing on Mac.

    1. I don't have any guides about this subject, I tend to just explore this kind of thing myself and see what happens!

      Thank you for commenting :)
