I recently discovered Parcelgenie and I was so impressed that I just had to share it! I stumbled across the service on Twitter (@Parcelgenie) and rather absentmindedly entered a competition they were running. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out I'd won a £5 credit to use on their app and quickly popped over to see what was on offer.
What I found was a fab little app which was simple to navigate and amazingly easy to use. I ended up using my £5 credit to send a chocolate pizza to myself (I couldn't choose which family member to send it to) and here's how I did it...
Within the app is the opportunity to recommend Parcelgenie to friends and family with a special code which gives them 40% off their first order and gives you £10 credit! I sent it to various family members including my husband who ordered me a couple of very sweet little gifts but he forgot to use the code so didn't get the discount (typical man).
He sent me the following gifts...
I loved everything I received, especially the chocolate hearts which were really tasty. Each little gift was beautifully packaged and felt like a special treat - I think anyone would be pleased to receive one of these little boxes of loveliness, whatever the occasion.
None of the gifts are hugely expensive and everything is delivered free making this a great way to show someone that you're thinking of them without breaking the bank. The app also contains a loyalty card which gives you a free gift with every six gifts sent and the 'Daily Shake' gives you the chance to win stuff (so far I've received a 25% discount).
For those of you who don't have a mobile phone with app capabilities there is now the option to send gifts via text message, you can find out how to do this on the Parcelgenie website.
I will definitely be using this service again in the future, I love it!
What do you think of Parcelgenie? Is it new to you or have you used it before?

This is NOT a sponsored or collaborative post, I simply wanted to share this fantastic app with my readers.
