Valley Mill Soy Wax Melts Review
As the days and nights get colder, I find myself thinking of all the things that I associate with this time of year.
Candles and wax melts are one of the items at the top of my winter list because they create such a lovely warm, relaxing atmosphere - just what I'm looking for when it's cold outside and I'm snuggled indoors.
You may remember I reviewed some gorgeous Valley Mill Natural Soaps and today I'm sharing my thoughts on their Roast Chestnut Natural Soy Wax Melts.
There are many other fragrances of wax melts available on the Valley Mill Website (Chocolate Truffle, Holly Berry, Spiced Apple and Coconut to name just a few) and they also make stunning candles which come with a Welsh Slate lid that doubles up as a coaster!
Once again I was impressed with the recyclable packaging, Valley Mill is clearly a company who cares. Being so beautifully packaged also means they make great gifts, especially with Christmas just around the corner.
Even before I opened the box I could smell the lovely warm, nutty fragrance. I couldn't wait to get them burning!
The design of the wax melts is very clever and so attractive, I almost didn't want to ruin the look by melting them. Each wax melt is hand poured to achieve an exquisite cog design which is detailed with the valley mill logo.
There were five wax melts in the box with a total burn time of 60 hours.
The gorgeous fragrance stayed put when it had melted but wasn't at all overpowering. And even when the melt had returned to a solid it was still delicately fragrancing the room - a real bonus for me with a dog in the house.
Since receiving these wax melts I've kind of felt like it's Christmas every day, just without the presents and yummy food!
If you're looking for a festive fragrance for your home (or other unique gifts), I would definitely recommend giving Valley Mill a browse.
