Have you heard of a Wow Cup? I hadn't until I came across it recently whilst browsing Amazon. I was so impressed once we tried it for ourselves that I just had to share it.
Changing from a bottle, to a beaker, to a cup can sometimes be tricky especially the transition to an open cup - it can get pretty messy. This is why I love the Wow Cup so much, it provides a way of teaching your child to drink out of a 'big girl/boy' cup without worrying about spills at all!
It has lots of great features:
- Spill free
- A soft silicone valve (which can be replaced if needed)
- Dishwasher safe
- BPA free
- 360° drink edge
- Phthalate free
- Refrigerator safe
- Supports oral development
- Ice cube friendly
The 360° drink edge means your child can drink from any part of the lid so they don't have to worry about finding a spout, lever or button. They just tip it up and suck gently. E took to it straight away and is drinking lots more because of it. She always seems to be waving it at me and asking for more.
This particular cup is suitable for children aged 12 months+ but there is also a training cup for babies aged 9 months+ which has handles to hold.
It's a great product for travelling with, especially when little one wants a drink in the car!
It would also be a fab cup for the elderly - my husband's late grandmother really struggled with cups and spillages and this would have solved the problem completely. She would've loved the bright colours too!
I paid £6.49 plus postage from Amazon which may seem a lot for a cup but in my opinion it's worth it, I'll definitely be buying more to replace E's existing beakers.
