"Percy James has everything a girl could want: a comfy flat, a steady relationship and a truly lovely group of friends.
Then she is approached by Eros Tech. Eros is 'the future of love' - an agency that brings together soulmates using phone data. Percy has been identified as a match for one of Eros's super wealthy clients.
The only problem is she already has a boyfriend . . . but what if this is *destiny*?
Would you - could you - pass up a chance to meet your one true love?"
The witty style of writing caught my attention straight away. Percy was an amusing and very likeable character who I connected with easily. I couldn't wait to see how she would react to EROS Tech's proposal.
What I loved most about this book was how the author managed to create tension whilst maintaining a comedic atmosphere. Some of my favourite moments included: a lollipop lady disaster, a girls night out, a very tense lunch and an ice wall adventure.
I was genuinely shocked (and amused) at the situation Percy found herself in, I really hadn't seen that twist coming and I couldn't stop flipping the pages to find out how she would handle it. Things kind of spiralled after that and it was gripping stuff, I just didn't know what was coming next!
The final twist came at the end and in my opinion it was perfect. It was completely right for the storyline and left me feeling satisfied that everything was how it should be.
Just Haven't Met You Yet was a fun and enjoyably unpredictable read. An absolute pleasure to curl up with.
