Mince And Mash
Today's recipe is for another easy V Family favourite - mince and mash! This will serve 2 - 4 people depending on portion sizes.
500g Pork Mince
400g Cheesy Mash
1 400g Tin of Cirio Chopped Tomatoes
1. Chop the onion and brown off in a frying pan with the mince.
2. Add the tin of tomatoes and stir well. Leave to simmer for around 5 minutes.
3. Pour in the gravy and stir. Leave to simmer for another 5 minutes.
4. Serve with cheesy mash - I went for the easy microwave option but you could, of course, make your own (with four children I tend to go for the quickest, easiest option whenever I can).
This is a lovely warm, comforting meal that doesn't take long to prepare but is very tasty. The tomatoes add such a lovely flavour to the dish, you really wouldn't believe they were from a tin.
