SherbetBox Stationery Subscription Box - April 2017
You might remember my post about the March 2017 SherbetBox, well I'm back today to share my thoughts on the April 2017 box!
If you missed my previous post (where have you been?) then let me tell you a little bit about the fabulous SherbetBox...
- SherbetBox is a stationery subscription service from Sherbet Lane.
- Every month you get a box full of exclusive stationery designed and illustrated by Claire Keay.
- There is a different theme each month. April was 'Pamper Time'.
- The box fits through your letterbox so you don't have to wait in for the postman.
- Contents vary but may include: greeting cards, postcards, washi tape, gift tags, notebooks, sticky notes, pens, colouring book, magnets, fancy paperclips, rubbers, ribbon etc.
You can choose a rolling subscription for £14 per month or a single box for £15 (V Family Fun readers can use SBMAY1 to save £2 off the single May box). Sales for the single boxes close on the 7th of each month.
There is also an option to gift a box to a fellow stationery addict, you can find out more about this fabulous gift idea here.
So as I mentioned above, the theme for the April box was 'Pamper Time' and this got me thinking of relaxing, indulgent me-time. I wasn't disappointed!
Take a look at my unboxing video to see for yourself how beautiful and well thought out the SherbetBox packaging is...
You can tell I'm a bookworm by my reaction to that gorgeous little bookmark! Anyone who gives me a bookmark is a forever friend in my eyes 😍.
Something that stands out about the SherbetBox are the inspirational quotes on some of the products. It turns an already lovely item into something even more special because if you frame it then all of a sudden you have an inspiring piece of art.
The mirror was a lovely surprise, such a useful little item that held an important message - it's easy to get caught up in the manic world around us and we don't always treat ourselves kindly so this is going in my handbag to remind me to always find time to be kind to myself.
As with the March box there were some beautifully illustrated cards, these with a distinct pampering theme. The birthday card with added sparkles was a favourite of mine - I'm always attracted to sparkly things!
We recently bought a new four-drawer filing cabinet which is quite dull and needs brightening up so my girls and I are on a mission to find as many pretty stickers and magnets as we can to give it the V Family touch. This is why I was so pleased with the stickers in the SherbetBox, not only are they pretty but they also offer a few words of wisdom.
I was absolutely right about the sparkly gold pencil - N soon squirrelled it away somewhere safe (where I can't find it)!
I'm looking forward to the next occasion where I need a gift bag because this one is absolutely beautiful, in fact I think I'll be sad to see it go.
The super-talented Claire clearly puts a lot of work into these boxes and you can tell that she really cares about the products she creates. It's so easy to be a SherbetBox brand rep because the box is brimming over with wonderfully designed and carefully crafted goodies, that is what makes these boxes so special.
The theme for the May SherbetBox is 'Wanderlust' which makes me think of maps, travelling and cities around the world. If you would like to order one, you can do so until 7th May and don't forget to use SBMAY1 to receive £2 off. Click here to go straight to the May box page and if you scroll down while you're there you might just recognise the featured unboxing video.
Are you a stationery addict or perhaps a subscription box addict? Have you ever had a SherbetBox delivery? I'd love to hear from you.
I received the SherbetBox for review purposes. I am always honest in my reviews and all opinions are my own or that of my family.
