Fairydoorz

Have you ever seen a magical Fairy Door?

Fairydoorz

This cute little door popped up in our house recently and ever since then we've had visits from all sorts of fairies!

Okay, so maybe the door was strategically placed by myself and maybe it arrived through our letterbox, beautifully packaged by the fabulous Fairydoorz but that doesn't make it any less magical in the V Family's eyes.

Fairydoorz

My first thought when I opened up the package was that it would make a wonderful gift for any little girl or boy with a big imagination and space on their skirting board (we don't have much of that in our house).

Inside was the Fairy Door with a woodland background, a little bottle of Fairy Dust and a very special book about a girl called Sophie who finds a magical Fairy Door.

As you've probably already gathered, E loves books (just like her mummy) so she was particularly excited about this. The Fairy Dust was also one of her favourite things from this pack - our carpet now has a definite shimmer to it!

Fairydoorz

Fairydoorz have thought of everything for their Fairy Doors, the little cut out woodland background was a wonderful touch because it gave E a visual idea of what was going on behind the door. It looks like such a pretty place, I think I'd quite like to visit Fairy Land too.

I mentioned above that we've had visits from lots of fairies, here are just a few of them:
  • The tooth fairy - even though E is nowhere near ready to lose any teeth.
  • The dummy fairy - she visits but goes away empty handed because E still doesn't feel ready to part with her num num.
  • The nappy fairy - she has the delightful task of removing Z's dirty nappies, also known as 'Mummy'.
We've even had the iPad fairy visit us and she very kindly takes our iPads downstairs while we're asleep!

Sophie Finds a Fairy Door has become another of our favourite bedtime books, we love the rhyming storyline and friendly characters. As a bonus, at the back of the book, there is also a fairy-finding game, a bookmark and cut out collector cards.

The Fairydoorz website contains loads of magical and imaginative bits and pieces for little ones so I'd highly recommend a browse. They even offer free delivery when you spend over £10.
